THE ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU WE KNOW AND BARRISTER IFEANYI EJIOFOR’S UPDATES FROM THE DSS DUNGEON..
The popular saying “wonders shall never end” appears to get a daily rebirth in the Biafran Liberation and Restoration race, especially since the kidnap of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
These “wonders” have had a steady connection with the various “versions” of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu being presented to us by those who have been anointed with the “monopoly” of seeing him since his incarceration in the Nigeria DSS custody.
Many of us never imagined, we still cannot lay it to heart, the “sudden transformation” of the Onyendu that we know in comparison to the “Onyendu” that is in detention countering almost everything he believes and preaches.
Some of us who were bold enough to dare challenge the updates or question it at the earlier stage of events got vehemently blocked on Facebook by the lawyer who is always “baby-nursed” by Onyendu each time he relates our disagreements to him.
This “coward-like” Ejiofor’s version of Onyendu was first made public at the then DOS cancellation of the Monday sit @home after the first week observation.
Knowing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu fully well, the excuses they dished out as Onyendu’s reason for the cancellation was so baseless that the outrage that greeted it became so enormous. This was the beginning of the fall of the then in-charge criminal DOS members.
Many people who later fell off the right track were also at the forefront of countering the so called order, then as the water began to trickle down, their lips to gradually got sealed.
But for those of us who stood our grounds, Onyendu that we all know never ever will!
The question many of us asked was: “what were the lawyers feeding him with?”.
Till today, no one has answer to the above question as this “weakling” of Onyendu continued to surprise us with Barrister Ejiofor’s weekly updates.
The updates, at a point became so monotonous that a five-year-old did not need to be told that water had gotten into the pipes of the fluted pumpkin.
Many of us stopped looking out for the update as nothing useful was expected from it.
Onyendu was “doing so wonderfully great” in DSS dungeon until the day Barrister Ejimakor’s update spoke differently… One hundred percent differently!!!
In all these things, Simon Ekpa had fully defended Ejiofor all along, no matter how loud we cried, calling him “whiter than white” in some instances.. we swallowed hard.. and got our dearest attention focused to “more important issues”.
Then came the day that Simon’s shell became so hot that he could no longer contain it, or is it the shell that couldn’t contain him, he took to a national broadcast and called the “bluff” of Barrister Ejiofor.
With the explosion of Simon Ekpa “We will no longer take order from anyone in DSS dungeon”. Hell got loosed. For and against.
But that was the best decision for the Biafran restoration race as we could no longer afford the distractions posed by the Barrister Ejiofor’s updates.
Did that change things? At least for a week as the next update appeared to be somewhat divergent from the others.
The arrival of the latest update has pushed many who exercised even the highest level of restraint to a point they can no more hold back. These people have openly lent their voices that this is in no way our own Onyendu’s voice.
How can Ejiofor bring us such unprintable update? What business has Onyendu got with George Obiozor’s personal home? Should this be the kind of issues taken to man who has been under mental and psychological torture for over nine months?
So, the visitation has turned out to be a gossip bay? Why add more torture to the psyche of Onyendu with a useless issue? Why insult the psyche of Biafrans with such a nonsensical update?
Who is advising Ejiofor? I don’t want to subscribe to the assertion of one of his colleagues who called him a “rag-tag” lawyer, but to be sincere, almost all of Ejiofor’s updates since the kidnap of Onyendu has not suggested otherwise.
Could someone please advice Ejiofor to put a hold on those updates for now? We can make do with just one sentence after every visit: “Onyendu is alive”. Finished with!
I know that the next update is going to centre on how: “Onyendu condemns the writer of this article for doubting his able Barrister Ejiofor and how he will not tolerate her rascality”, that’s very okay.
Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor must know that people are fed up reading the balderdash of updates, he should spare us!
In reality, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s room is bugged, just as Ejiofor confirms. So if at all Onyendu, out of lack of privacy chooses to code his messages, the lawyer should be intelligent enough to decode it and instead of feeding the Biafran public with codes as the real information, he should just keep it so as to save himself the tongue-lashing of the people such as this article.
To whom brain is given, sense is expected! Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, a word is enough for the wise.
