MAZỊ SIMON EKPA: THE HOPE AGAINST HOPE FOR BIAFRA AND BIAFRANS.
“Maduforo, Maduakolam, Azuka, Azubuike, Ahamefula, Amaefula Amaechina (Obiefuna, Obiechina)…”
These are names spiritually and consciously conceived by our ancestors. They are chosen and given due to the deep and conscious need for the preservation of our individual ancestral lineages.
The deriving and giving of these names is to reiterate the necessity for every generation of our people to understand that no one runs a race alone, how much more the race for survival of a people.
These names, each time they are mentioned in the Igbo Biafra parlance, tends to awaken something deep in us, they reactivate within us the consciousness of “Ezinna, Amanna” which extendedly put could be said to mean our kin, our lineage, our generation.
These names reminds us of whom we are, where we are coming from and why we must continue against all odds!
I will never bother to give the literal interpretation of these great names that takes us back to our roots in any foreign language as such tends to weaken and even alter the vibrations and reverberations that these names anchor in creation and most importantly within us each time they are used.
Those with understanding of these things already know the direction I am headed, so let’s take the ride!
Some days back, a young Biafran lady said to me, “when I have a son, I would name him Simon Ekpa”.
I smiled with satisfaction in my inner being. “Why are you smiling?”, she asked. I laughed out loud, and very boisterously too, still without an answer.
Beaming with smiles, eyeball to eyeball, she steered at me –
Then I asked her, “What is the meaning of Simon Ekpa?”.
She quickly replied, “To me, it means HOPE!”.
I said, “Do you know that for the past one month, I have been wanting to write an article in that direction concerning Simon Ekpa?” She was like “wow!”
And so, we sat down and took a tour into the events that gave rise to the Force called Simon Ekpa, how he became and has remained the beacon of hope for Biafrans in the absence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Contrary to what the media and a few efeulefu from Biafraland think they have to say about Simon Ekpa and our IPOBAutopilot family, the fact on ground remains these:
- Every Biafran wants freedom from Nigeria and it’s evil enclave of a country.
- That Nigeria means death, stagnation, poverty, deprivation, blackmail, what have you and is far beyond redemption despite the “lie-lie money for hand, back for ground” prophets and their prophecies.
- Over 75% of Biafrans have come to understand, trust and accept Simon Ekpa as the ONLY MAN STANDING since the kidnap of Onyendu Mazi Nmamdi Kanu.
- Other Nigerians ( Non Biafrans) who are closely following the unfolding events are much more afraid of Simon Ekpa than Onyendu, in fact it was actually a Northerner who recently said to me that “Simon Ekpa is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Promax”.
Furthermore, I encountered another Biafran who had almost given up on the course and on her own she asked me, “so they were actually blackmailing Simon Ekpa?”
I replied her, “100%. Why do you ask?” Her answer was refreshing – “After speaking with some people at home last Christmas, my hope came alive”. And she went on to narrate her experience at home to me.
Finally she asked, “when in reality is Biafra coming?”. I smilingly said, “Join the Autopilot train, follow Simon Ekpa wherever you find him”.
With everything Ndi Nzama has done, ranging from the kidnap of Onyendu, slaughtering of both our gallants and other Biafrans like chicken on daily basis to the different levels of betraying our people at all costs, just in their bid to end Biafra, they have had only one immovable obstacle, SIMON EKPA.
Simon Ekpa has risen amidst the hauling of fire, thunder, brimstone, tornadoes and whatever tempest you can think of after the sellout of Ohamadike by these ungrateful elements to become the “Maduforo” that has nightmarishly overwhelmed our enemies and detractors: both Nigeria, Britain and their worthless propaganda media outfits.
These blackmails cooked from the pit of hell against Simon by these two God-forsaken counterparts became his stepping stones into massive fame, greatness and now… to history making!
I wonder who again, amongst our people, and in our recent history have been able to weather the storm of such unwarranted wicked lashing and heavy blackmail within such a short period — yet unbeaten, unbridled, and unbroken!
Having gone far beyond the crossing of the Rubicon, the Biafrans are left with only one expectation — HOME.
And with this continued incarceration of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Biafrans both friend and foe are focused on this our “Obiefuna” with every aiota of hope remaining in them, constantly urging him on…
They are saying: “Go, Simon Ekpa Go!” All Must Hail Biafra.
